Why Long Aluminium Profiles Are So Hard To Coat
Long architectural and industrial profiles are not designed for easy powder coverage. Deep grooves, tight corners and complicated shapes create strong Faraday-cage effects, so powder is pushed away from exactly where you need protection.
Powder “hides” from recesses and internal corners – outer edges look perfect while inner channels are thin or bare.
Profiles shield each other on standard racks, creating stripes and uneven film thickness.
Rework and hand repair after curing increases labour cost and destroys consistency.
